     Connecticut moved to 2-and-1 in New England Pool Play with a 10-0 win over Maine. Kira Fazio was the winning pitcher she struck out 7 batters in a 3 hits shut out win. The girls from Fairfield will meet Rhode Island with first place in the New England Pool on the line Wednesday at 12:30pm.

     Maine got two hits from Nadia Grinyuk and a single from  Delia Fravert. Maine falls to 1-2 in pool play they will face Massachusetts tomorrow at 10am.
