New England- Connecticut 16  Vermont 3

    Connecitcut’s Gabby Mercado went 4-for-4 with 4 runs scored to lead Fairfiled Little League to a 16-3 win over Vermont. Connecitcut is now 1-1 in the New England Pool they play Tuesday against Maine. Alyssa Russo,  Paige O’Neill and Kira Fazio each add two hits apiece in the win. Kira Fazio was the winning pitcher only given up 1 hit.

    Vermont falls to 0-3 in New England Pool Play they play Massachuesetts Tuesday at 3pm.
