      Massachusetts pitcher Marleigh Monroe stuke out 10 and gave up two hits in 4-to-3 win over Connecticut. Kelsey Bouchard had a RBI double for Massachuesetts who is now 1-1 in pool play. Massachusetts has Monday off before returning to play Vermont Tuesday at 3pm.
        Connecticut’s pitcher Alyssa Russo struke out 9 and only gave up 1 hit. The girls from Fairfield Little League fall to 0-1 in New England Pool Play they play again Monday 12:30pm against Vermont.
